Es Trenc

Kilometres of white sand and clear water with not one building behind them, protected by law: the es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos marine and coastal Natural Park, declared in 2017. Behind the beach lie dunes, pine wood and a salt wetland that is among the most valuable stretches of Mallorca's coast.

Practical information

Access
In the south of the island, in Campos. Reached on foot from the car parks: there is no road along the beach, which is precisely what saves it.
Services
This is a protected natural area: respect the dunes and marked paths. The seagrass on the shore is not dirt — it is what keeps the sand there.
Best time
May, June and September. In August the car parks fill up first thing.
