A tasting at a historic winery in the DO Binissalem
Binissalem is the heart of the DO Binissalem, five municipalities sheltered by the Serra de Tramuntana where native varieties such as manto negro, callet and moll are grown. Bodegas José L. Ferrer welcomes visitors with a guided tour of its facilities, from the 1931 buildings to the most modern ones, and a wine tasting paired with Mallorcan produce. There are sittings Monday to Saturday at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:30, and Sundays at 11:00 and 13:00, with prior booking by phone or email.

Getting there
Binissalem is about 28 km from the airport (about 30 minutes by car on the Inca motorway). By train, SFM lines from the Estació Intermodal in Palma (Plaça d'Espanya) stop at Binissalem.
