What we do

We cover the same things other guides do —coves, food, what's on, places to stay— but elevated: with editorial judgement, our own photography and a serene, luxurious eye. We don't believe in noise or ostentation; we believe in space, time, honest produce and authenticity.

Our editorial standards

  • Independence. We recommend out of conviction, not commission.
  • First-hand. We write about what we know and have walked.
  • Quality over quantity. One excellent story beats five fillers.
  • Clear facts. Hours, access, dates and prices when they help.

Independence and transparency

When content is sponsored, we always say so, clearly. The reader's trust is our main asset, and it is not for sale. Affiliate links, where present, never shape our judgement.

Why Menorca, and what comes next

Menorca —a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and, since 2023, a World Heritage Site for its Talayotic legacy— is the opposite of mass tourism: calm, natural, authentic. It is our first edition. In time, Calma Society will reach other Mediterranean destinations in the same spirit.
