Primer Diumenge de Maig: Santa Eulària's May festival
On the first Sunday in May, which in 2027 falls on the 2nd, Santa Eulària des Riu celebrates the Primer Diumenge de Maig. According to tradition, it recalls the day the old church collapsed down the cliff just after Mass ended, without anyone being hurt. The day begins with Mass at Puig de Missa and ball pagès beside the church; afterwards, in the village centre, traditional carts, Ibizan hounds and classic vehicles parade (in 2026 the carts did not go out because of rain). The 2027 programme is yet to be published by the Ajuntament.

Getting there
Santa Eulària is about 23 km from the airport (about 30-35 minutes by car). By bus, the AERO4 leaves the airport every hour in May and arrives in about 37 minutes. Puig de Missa is reached on foot from the centre.
