Carnival (Darrers Dies)
In Menorca, Carnival is known as 'els Darrers Dies', the last days before Lent. In 2026 it runs from Dijous Llarder (12 February) to Darrer Dimarts (17 February), with float-and-troupe parades over the weekend in Ciutadella and Maó, and open-air grills in Es Mercadal and Ciutadella.
