Christmas fairs and markets around the villages of Menorca

In December the island belongs to the islanders again, and every town sets up its fira de Nadal: crafts, traditional pastries, decorations, workshops and hot chocolate in the square. They cluster around the first two weekends of December and the days before Christmas; Maó, Ciutadella and Ferreries open the calendar, Es Mercadal, Sant Lluís and Es Migjorn Gran close it. Each town hall publishes its own dates and programme through November — worth confirming before you drive out.
