Sant Martí Festival
Es Mercadal, at the heart of the island and the foot of Monte Toro, honours its patron Sant Martí with the 'qualcada' of riders (caixers), the 'caragol' and the horse 'jaleo'. It opens the high-summer cycle of village festivals. Dates approximate (usually the third weekend of July); confirm the programme with the town hall.
