Semanas Gastronómicas: Formentera's cuisine, reinterpreted
For two weeks in October, participating restaurants serve a menu created for the occasion, inspired by Formentera's traditional cooking and made with local produce, at a fixed price. It's organised by the island's small and medium business association (PIMEF) with the Consell's tourism promotion department, and diners vote for their favourite menus. It's an excellent excuse to sit down to eat once the island belongs again to those who live there. It's worth checking the participating restaurants and booking at each one.

Getting there
From Ibiza Airport to the port of Eivissa (about 8 km: about 15 min by taxi or the AERO2 bus, 30-35 min) and boat to La Savina (about 30 min). On the island, buses L1 and L2 run all year round from La Savina; the restaurants are spread across Formentera.
