Fornalutx
Stone staircases, painted tile roofs and orange trees on every terrace: Fornalutx is one of those villages you walk in twenty minutes and remember for years. It sits at the head of the Sóller valley, against the mountain, and has almost no level street.

- From Sóller, along the valley road. Park outside the centre and walk up: there is no room inside and the streets are steps.
- Best time
- Winter and spring, when the orange trees blossom and the valley smells of orange flower.
