Riding the 1912 wooden train to Sóller

The Ferrocarril de Sóller has connected Palma and Sóller since 1912 with its wooden train, through the landscapes of Mallorca's northern mountains, stopping at Bunyola; the journey takes around an hour. In Sóller it connects with the century-old tram that runs down to Port de Sóller, and there's a combined train-and-tram ticket. With a ticket bought online, the boarding pass arrives by email, and the operator asks passengers to be at the station 30 minutes before departure.
