Tartini and Schubert with Gordan Nikolić and the Orquesta de Cámara Illa de Menorca
The Orquesta de Cámara Illa de Menorca opens October at the Teatre Principal with “Renacer”, part of its 2026 Season. Serbian violinist Gordan Nikolić plays and conducts at once in Tartini's Violin Concerto in A minor, and the evening continues with Schubert's “Death and the Maiden”, in Mahler's arrangement for string orchestra. Friday 2 October at 20:30, about 60 minutes: a first autumn evening at Maó's theatre, once the island has settled back into its rhythm.

The Teatre Principal is in the very centre of Maó, about 6 km from the airport (10-15 minutes by car). By bus, line 10 connects the airport with Maó station; for drivers, the des Freginal public car park is the best located in the centre.
