Donizetti's three queens open Maó's opera season

The Fundació Menorquina de l'Òpera and the Amics de s'Òpera de Maó open the 56th Opera Season with the “Concert of the Three Queens”: arias from Anna Bolena, Maria Stuarda and Roberto Devereux, Donizetti's Tudor trilogy. Vasilisa Berzhanskaya sings, with the Balearic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pietro Mazzetti. Saturday 21 November at 20:00; general sale from 10 November. A first-rate operatic evening in November, with the island at its calmest.

Getting there

In the centre of Maó, about 6 km from the airport (10-15 minutes by car). By bus, airport line 10 to Maó station; the des Freginal public car park is the closest to the centre.
