Stepping inside the Torre-saura palace, on the Born in Ciutadella

The home of the Counts of Torre-saura for 177 years (1818-1995), with a neoclassical façade of two Italianate loggias over the Born, which Archduke Ludwig Salvator described as “without doubt the most beautiful mansion on the island”. Its rooms, including the one with the throne prepared for Isabella II's stay in 1860, can be visited from May to September, Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 17:30 and Saturdays from 10:30 to 14:00; in October, Monday to Saturday from 10:30 to 14:30. On Tuesdays at 18:00 there's a guided tour taking in restricted areas and the old stables, opened for the first time in 2026; on Thursdays at 18:00 the Foundation shows the dry-stone walling on its Ses Truqueries estate, facing the Punta Nati landscape.
