Cove · East (Maó)

Cala Mesquida

A beach of pale sand and calm water just outside Maó, with a small cluster of fishermen's houses, restaurants and a defensive tower. It sits on the east coast —not the turquoise south—: Maó's local swim, less postcard and more everyday island life.
